I honestly don't see any noticeable difference between the two. I was expecting less light to come through MERV 1
I have been buying Nordic Pure stove filters for many years and I am very happy with them. This time I decided to buy the MERV 12 instead of the MERV 8 because of all the smoke and dust in the air from the wildfires across the state. I kept a MERV 8 filter next to a MERV 12 filter in front of the lights in my garage. I honestly don't see any noticeable difference between the two. I expected less light to be filtered through MERV 12. PS There is no mark on the MERV 12 filter to indicate that it is actually MERV12. what happened to it
