I was getting more and more frustrated with my Dyson's performance - it just wasn't cleaning as well as it used to, despite trying to wash and clean the filters as recommended. We've had the vacuum for almost five years, maybe I should have changed the filters sooner but OMG. NO MATTER. This summer we had a major renovation at our house and there was construction dust everywhere, rubbing into the carpets. We vacuumed and vacuumed but it never seemed clean. Enter new vacuum filters.
