DO NOT use the recommended breed size on the labels. According to the tag, the size I bought would fit a Dalmatian, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Standard Schnauzer, or English Bulldog. There is absolutely no way it could fit an adult bulldog or any of the dogs listed. As a general rule I would go at least one size up unless your dog is very small. My dog is a larger 28lb Boston Terrier and the coat is actually a bit tight on the chest and doesn't close all the way. We live in Phoenix, Arizona so this isn't really an issue, but if you live in a colder area it could be an issue. Aside from the misleading sizing, the coat is adorable. It is well stitched, it can be washed, the fabric is soft, there is a slit on the back for you to put the leash through. Closes with high quality Velcro. It is properly cut to allow the dog to go to the toilet without getting on the coat. The blue goes very well with the color.
