Years ago I switched from a big Noctua DH-15 to a Corsair 115i Pro 280mm AIO when the air cooler couldn't handle my I7-8700K overclocked to 5MHz. I've now switched to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and have tried two Corsair AIOs and can barely keep it below 90C with underpowered Precision Boost overclocking. I've seen reviews that say these multi-heatpipe air coolers work really well on Ryzen 5000 dies. So I tried this much cheaper solution and it WORKS. First I forgot how quiet a good air cooler is. The fan only reaches 1200 rpm and the maximum value of Db <30. The temperature dropped 3-5 degrees Celsius compared to my AIO in extreme mode, which turns on the maximum pump and fans. Now in acceleration 82-84 degrees.
