Review on LINGLING ONE IR Emitter Extender Extension Cable 3 by Kay Daniels

I bought 2 of these, one was probably a return, it was in an open plastic bag and 3 seals were missing. The other was in an unopened new bag and had three sticky sheets. I think this splitter should really really attenuate the strength of the signal it splits. This extension turns on my Integra receiver and adjusts the volume fairly well (when the remote's batteries run out, for example), but it doesn't affect my Apple TV or Sony Blu-ray player. It has absolutely no effect on them. Not worth returning them so I'll probably just throw them away.
