I bought these bags two years ago after having another moth in our house. Turns out these were years of testing and I was hoping these bags would keep the large duvets and quilts clean so I wouldn't have to worry about washing everything again if I found another moth. They appear to be waterproof but I haven't tested them. They're definitely waterproof, so much so that I put desiccant packs in pouches because there's no airflow. They are soft on the sides and fold up when not needed, which I also liked. So if you're looking for a sturdy or tidy box pan, this isn't your choice. The advantage of these bags is that you can store large soft items such as blankets and pillows in them and keep them clean and dry. So happy with them I've just bought two more.
