If you want to go to 30,000, there's absolutely no reason to. If you're looking for a new communicator, use the 20, okay? I'm from the 20's and I love it, it showed me the wonders of music, phone, gps and google assistant WHILE using the intercom with other drivers. The keyword is DURING. 30k forces you to turn off the intercom when you need to do something on your phone. They'll say it works if everyone has 30,000, but that's really unrealistic and downright stupid, and people in their 20s don't need a downgrade. I have 20s and 30k and there is no way to get rid of 20s to see if it works with just 30k. I haven't forgotten what it's like to listen to music or navigation while talking on the intercom with my friend on the go.
