These work grids, ultra light, so light that they look strange because other cutlery is much heavier. I weighed the entire kit at 1.6 ounces! Polished metal is very smooth and pleasant to the touch. The unpolished part of Unensil has good texture and touch. They're a little smaller than standard cutlery, but not so small that they're difficult to use. The knife is your standard butter knife, not too sharp but the teeth are good for shredding food. I used mine to cut a NY strip steak and it worked better than I thought it would, considering it's a butter knife.
