My six year old son has type 1 diabetes and wears a small continuous blood glucose meter (CGM) that helps us monitor his blood/sugar levels. He typically wears each CGM for about two weeks before it needs to be replaced with a new one. The adhesive on these devices is fine and works well for the most part, but there are times when the edges peel early. In this case we always use 3M Tegaderm dressings. The clear window makes it very easy to cover perfectly with CGM and the bandage is waterproof and stays in place. If my six year old can't make it, you don't have to worry! Highly recommended!
