Really simple. Gas cylinders, those red ones with nozzles, should have parts that won't wear out after a year or two, but apparently the o-rings that keep them from leaking are crap. I have several gas canisters during hurricane season and often these rubber rings have ruptured. Lowes couldn't help me. Home Despot couldn't help me. Oh, I could buy a new spout that probably wouldn't fit my container. But these o-rings work great. Do they last several years? I don't know, but they're cheap enough to replace if needed.
