My 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 900, 4500 miles. Very few kilometers but 12 years old. My bike's top speed on the freeway was only 70 miles and I was feeling weak. Even with too much gas. I only got 20.27 mpg because of poor fuel economy. I almost took it to a bike shop for repairs, but I saw a YouTube video showing how to use shims to adjust the valve clearances. I decide to try it myself. I have found that I need to replace 4 seals on my bike. I went to a Kawasaki dealer to buy pads but they tried to charge over $50 for 4 pads. I ordered this full set of pads from Revain for $67. I exchanged these 4 pads after delivery. Doesn't matter! My motorcycle has changed 100%, works like new. Now my bike has more power, goes faster than 110 miles on the freeway and gets 45 mpg or more. I realized that the clearance value is very important on a motorcycle. Whoever has the same problem as my bike, buy these spacers and do it yourself. Save a lot of money and no other mechanic will take care of your bike like you!
