I have purchased two of these drives and both are brand new and perfect. The seller, Power Optical, packaged them very well and they arrived in perfect condition. I bought two of these for my old Dell desktops because IDE drives are becoming scarce these days and I didn't want to mess around trying to use some sort of IDE/SATA converter to try and install a SATA drive . I haven't used the Lightscribe feature and probably never will as I didn't buy any discs for that specific purpose. These drives are also good and quiet. I am very satisfied with these discs and also with the seller. Very friendly customer service and quick answers to all my questions; pleasant experience!
