I saw an ad for this putty. I tried using the standard putty knife every time I needed to patch a small hole or crack, hoping I could use it on a larger area. An important element when using this product is the very flexible yellow spatula that comes with the kit. which makes it easier to use. I couldn't find a large spatula so I bought one that I thought looked similar but wasn't flexible and made application a bit more difficult and less smooth. Unlike advertising, it can take up to three times to fill an area with damage or a hole. However, it dries quickly enough that you don't have to wait long between uses. Once sanded and painted I'll see how good the end result is.
