This shipper included (accidentally?) a cheap plastic bag which the Chinese manufacturer must have originally put it in. above and there is a diagram of how to use them in an aquarium marked in Chinese. The diffusers are now sealed in a beautiful English language blister pack. Why they attached a strange all-Chinese bag to it I don't understand. In any case, they work great. I use them to create small bubbles to disperse CO2 in a planted aquarium. They create much smaller bubbles than my airstones I've used before and my CO2 levels have improved. I can't comment on how well they work in a protein skimmer. I've always used an injection powered Aqua-C skimmer so I don't have to constantly fumble around for replacement parts. Their main disadvantage is that the wood floats. I didn't really think about it and they don't come with suction cups to hold them in place. So if you don't already have suction cups for your air hoses, you'll need to buy one or attach the hose under the decoration. or rock. I understand this applies to all bubblers as they are air filled, but they are REALLY buoyant.
