Review on Pop Lock PL8450 Tailgate Frontier by Tony Doan

I installed this on my 2019 Frontier cab. My truck has a hard trunk lid and I often use the tailgate lock. Installing the device itself is very easy; with wiring more pain, but not so bad. I clung to the wiring harness on the passenger side center pillar. Blue wire from Pop&Lock wire connected to light purple wire on B-pillar wiring harness; the green wire of the Pop&Lock cable that connects to the blue wire of the B-pillar wiring harness. The Pop&Lock box says it fits 2007 thru 2013 models, but it works for all 2nd gen Frontiers thru 2019 (and I'm thinking 2020 too, but don't hold me to that). The drive is quite noisy when locked/unlocked as others have mentioned, but its convenience far outweighs the minor annoyance. Overall, it took me about 3.5 hours for the installation. Very, very nice not having to lock/unlock the tailgate manually! Money and time well spent!
