I am using this not as a DAC but to convert the USB audio output of a small Android TV device (Nvidia Shield) to Toslink optical for input into my 2-channel Music/TV audio system. No complaints; it has been working very reliably, and is bus-powered to boot (one less wire to manage). I've played content with sampling rates of 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 without any trouble. Installation was difficult and had to be repositioned due to the bottom bracket warping when installing. Make sure to predrill your holes, you will also need a long Phillips head screwdriver. I love these qtips and the bamboo handle. I'm an avide ear cleaner and makeup wearer and these really hold up, the bamboo handle is very sturdy. This unit did Not work well when playing back TV shows recorded on my cable providers DVR. It cut off 1/2 of all the words spoken. 90% of my TV viewing is of shows I record on my DVR so this unit was useless to me. Unfortunately It was a gift and by the time I found someone who could hook it up for me the short return option had expired. This is a great little purse. I like the three sections for organization. The lining is a shiny brown fabric which is not my favorite but I can live with it. The card slots are not staggered which I don’t like (one slot is deep and the cards go down deep, the second is normal and the third sits at the same height as middle. My crew does technical rescues - a lot of them, and we're often on highways.
