Minimal relief for my stressed rescue dog

Seems a lot of people are having great success with this product. However, I have noticed that dogs react to certain substances/medicines just as individually as humans. I just rescued a dog who was under such stress when I brought her home. He had a lot of baggage. He was picked up on the street, taken to the municipal shelter and euthanized a few hours after the euthanasia when the no-kill shelter made an inspection and sent him onto the premises. After everything he's been through, he was neutered the day I picked him up, so he came home with a lampshade on his head too. While we hit it off at the orphanage when I brought him home he just wanted to run away. To the point of exhaustion, he looked for a way out. I had a ProQuiet from my previous dog (gone to the bridge) and I decided to give it a try. While this helped my Shiloh Sheepdog during thunderstorms, fireworks, etc., the response to my new rescue was minimal. Since I reacted to my dog's stress level at all, I'm giving it three stars. I took my new boyfriend for a "spa visit" to my own vet as per the adoption contract. While there I took Composure and the vet said if that doesn't help enough use the Bach Flower Remedy as well. Self-control changed the situation immediately, but I had to triple the dose (may increase) for the first few days, and then double the dose. He's still taking double the daily dose but is finally starting to get used to it and enjoying the new experience. If ProQuiet works well for your dog, great. If not, you can try "possession". My vet couldn't recommend it more highly. I have since ordered more from Ammy and saved a significant amount over buying from a vet clinic.
