I use this charger to charge Revain Basic, Tenergy and their own HiQuick brands. This is a great value as it comes with 4 AAA 4 AA batteries. The HiQuick Smart Charge charges them faster than my other chargers. I LOVE the green/red LEDs that tell you which batteries are fully charged. Before that I had to leave the batteries charged for 24 hours. Just in case, because there was no indicator light when the battery was "full". I was skeptical that the Android 5V 2a mini USB power bank can fully charge 8 batteries, but it seems to work well. I love that I can use any mini USB charger (Android) to charge my batteries. I had a small problem with the 1st 4th charging slot which was constantly green, but the seller quickly figured out the problem and sent me not just a replacement charger but MORE than 8 batteries. Their CS rep even wanted to know the "batch number" of my device so they could review the entire batch and track down any manufacturing issues. + Advantages + For example, I can charge any combination of up to 8 batteries at the same time. Much more than my 2x or 4x chargers. For example, green LEDs that tell me when the batteries are fully charged. For example, it charges faster than other chargers. For example, it can be connected to any existing mini USB charger (Android), even in the car. with 4AAA and 4AA batteries, as a quick service for the customers who stand behind their product. - CONS - Not really. Even if the first 4 slots were constantly lit when the power was connected, they were still charging the batteries. Support sent me a replacement quickly. With all micro-USB connectors, care must be taken not to damage the connector and/or cables, but this is actually a problem with the micro-USB, not the device.
