Review on Bosch 6036C HEPA Cabin Filter by Stephen Russian

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not for 2015 Tucson GLS

Filter too thick (high) for 2015 Tucson GLS. I had to cut a piece of stiff strip off one end and then take out six thin strips down the middle. Only then could I insert it into the filter holder. As expected, the filter restricts airflow somewhat compared to other HEPA filters. Rating update: I'm increasing it from 4 to 5 stars. Where I live in Chicago's northwest suburbs, many homes have chimneys and the AQI is hovering around 100. It was measured by IQ Air's Air Visual. Raise the car window and turn on the fan to draw in outside air and my AQI is between 10 and 15. I'm so glad to know my lungs have been taken good care of. Yes, putting the filter in my 2015 Tucson was difficult and the airflow was about half as much. But it gives me clean air and that's all that matters. I will definitely buy this filter from now on.

Pros
  • Cabin air filter should be replaced at least every 12 months (or every 12,000 miles)
Cons
  • Updates
