This is a budget DVD player that works well if you're not looking for anything out of the ordinary. Easy to connect - just plug it in, connect an HDMI cable to your TV and you're done. I had a problem, but I'm not sure if it's the DVD players. Everything was fine using the included HDMI cable (about 3-4ft long), but I had to use a 15ft cable to get to the TV. With this long cable, the picture quality was very poor. Since the picture was good with the shorter cable, I assumed the cable was bad and replaced it. I had the same problem with a second 15ft cable. So either I have 2 bad cables or this DVD player won't work with such a long cable. Since I don't have any other device with HDMI ports, I can't test the cables with anything else. Since I don't know if this is related to the DVD player and everything else works perfectly, I give it 5 stars because of the low price.
