Another winner from CharJenPro. I have two of their other adapters and this one is my favorite because it supports exactly the ports/devices I need. I'm not sure I could draw something that suits my needs better. First, it works. Period. I'm no longer a "metrics freak" who stacks one device on top of another to measure its performance. I honestly don't care - as long as the device I connect WORKS. every time And that is exactly my experience with this adapter. And indeed, this has been my experience with every adapter I've purchased from CharJenPro. But it has the Micro/SD card reader I've been waiting for. I was now able to replace THREE devices in my portfolio - a USB adapter, a micro card reader, and an HDMI adapter. Now it's all in one insanely thin adapter. And it comes with a flexible attachment cable which I consider a massive improvement over my first CharJenPro adapter which was rigid/flush in its connection and required two slots on the Mac. Well, there might be technical reasons why it had to be designed that way, but I like the fact that it has a cord so I can arrange things the way I want and position the adapter accordingly, no matter the devices I use. Ports are (for me) perfect for my work. But there are other features of this adapter that I find attractive. It has excellent finishes. You may not mind much, but it is important to me. It complements the Mac very well. And I can't help but mention the cool little storage pouch that insulates and protects it from the clutter of wires that have become the inside of my briefcase. Finally, there's "Char" and "Jen." who form the core of this company. They care. And they prove it. Try any of their products and you'll see what I mean. It's not offensive or intrusive. It's also not mass-produced. This is a real one-on-one with the people who invented the product. It's all about that.
