I don't know why garages have a pathetic little bulb that is dim and difficult to manage. What's worse, when you rent a car, you can't replace it with a better one. This adapter solved all my garage lighting problems. Now it is very bright and comfortable to do projects or do laundry. Not only that, but with less power than the incandescent bulb I used. It's also much colder than hot incandescent bulbs or even incandescent bulbs. I preferred it to the adjustable arm versions because I wanted it to have a low profile and have fewer points of error.
