I bought this lens from Revain and it's in great condition. What a sharp lens! It works very well with an Olympus E-P3. I don't think its size or weight is an issue for the PEN E-P3. I tried OM 9-18m; Although smaller and lighter than this lens, I found it too soft at some focal lengths. That's not the case here, and the extra 2mm really makes a difference. Shooting with 7mm [=14mm] is a dream, especially for landscapes. Distortions can be corrected somewhat in Photoshop, as can chromatic aberrations. The CA is indeed lower than I expected [since Olympus doesn't repair Panasonic's CAs like they do with Panasonic cameras]. Distortion can also be controlled by how the lens is held in relation to the subject. I only care about what others express; You can't put a filter on it, so you have to be extra careful when driving through the bush. The extended sides of the lens form a sort of lens hood that seems to block out sunspots and flare quite well, but not always. Due to the wide angle, it can sometimes be difficult to avoid the sun's rays when facing the sun in any way. Since there is no filter, you also have to be careful with dust, and since there is no filter, I feel like I have to carry around a lens cap, which is quite large and not as easy to put in as a normal lens cap [ but doable]. All in all, this is a wonderful lens that inspires me in many photos.
