Domestic fan vibration/rattle

I was also experiencing very very high vibration/rattle. It was clearly new, no returns or anything like that. I'm changing it now, I hope the next one will be better. Edit: The second is slightly better, but still very noisy. It's not fan blade noise but internal bearing noise that's making my desk vibrate. I'm going to return this one and try something else.
