These protective brackets fit my three Arlo cameras very well. This is a nice improvement over the magnetic mounts included with Arlo. However, don't be fooled by the "safety" in the title. If a person has access to this mount, they can remove the Arlo by simply unscrewing the camera from the mount, just like unscrewing the (still) camera from the tripod base. These mounts give the Arlos a little more security when used outdoors as they cannot be easily detached from the base. This mount kit is molded aluminum unlike some other mounts with plastic bodies. I installed these three fasteners with the head screws in the soffit under the eaves of my house. The combined weight of the mount and Arlo is easily supported by three screws in the ceiling without any substrate or bolts. It can be difficult to determine the exact position when tightening the friction ring. To get the most out of your Arlos, fine-tuning of angle and field of view may be required, and very fine-tuning is difficult. Also, you'll likely need to readjust the mount every time you change the battery, since you'll have to unscrew the Arlo to do so. Overall, this is a great product that does its job well but has a few limitations.
