These watercolor pencils offer a variety of vibrant, rich colors. Easy to use, easy to draw and work, portable and affordable. I rate these pencils in the middle class. Compared to my professional Faber-Castell pencils, they offer the same deep pigments, a wide range of colors and are easy to carry. The biggest difference is the solubility of the pigments. Arteza blends and builds well, but requires a little more water to activate and streaks are visible under the dissolved color. They are great for adding texture to any work. I alternate between these two specific brands and use them in the same way. I love Arteza and am glad I started with this brand before moving on to a more expensive professional product.
