Review on 🏋️ Gel Force Knee Sleeve by Pro-Tec Athletics - X-Large by Jeremy Jackz

I was looking for a knee pad that offers extra support and increased wear resistance. It got a lot of good reviews and I thought it was worth a try, especially for the price. I have what I would call a weak knee as I often experience pain probably due to a damaged meniscus. This pain will start and it will be difficult to walk. Every step feels like a sharp punch. Usually if I rest and am careful this pain will go away and I will be able to walk normally for a few days or maybe two weeks. I wanted to find something that would give my knee extra support during more strenuous activity or while recovering from one of those flare-ups. I started by ordering the medium, which Pro-Tec says measures 14" to 16" as per their instructions. My knee was 16" and I thought it would be better for it to be a little tight than a little loose. When I received the medium and tried it on I found it was too tight. I wanted it a few hours and found the medium size got uncomfortable too quickly. It fits tight. So I sent the medium back and ordered the large. The large list fits 16" to 18" and still fits snugly around my 16". -Knee but is more comfortable.than the medium.I wore it most of the day last Saturday as I worked on various projects around the house, climbed the stairs a few times to load boxes into the attic, and also worked on other projects. The support worked well and I had no pain. I'm not sure I understand how a gel pad around the kneecap really helps or what its actual function is, but I had no problems. I beme I felt a little irritation from the fabric in the crease behind the knee when I had to squat for a long time. Overall, the bandage was comfortable enough to wear for several hours. I believe this will serve me well.
