With every step this brace shifts and shifts my kneecap. It's too thick and stiff to wear as a compression bandage during the day and too flexible due to its construction to protect an injured knee while running. I'm very disappointed that it can't be returned, I knew it wouldn't work after wearing it for 5 minutes. DO NOT BUY

Fits well but doesn't stay in place or wrinkle from sliding. If it slips, and it will, the compression will cause discomfort behind the knee. where it gets thicker. I wanted to tear it down after about 15 minutes walk. I'm stuck on this post, it can't seem to be brought back. Make sure you read the policy, I know I will from now on. It would be better with a premium bandage than this and they are much cheaper.

I use this product for walking and hiking. Not only does it provide excellent support, it also provides compression. I could not have completed my last trip without him. I find it relatively comfortable - it doesn't roll up from the top or lift off from the bottom. I love the gel foam that surrounds the kneecap. I also like the supports on either side that provide extra support. There may be stronger knee pads out there but for now this brace fits my needs.

update: I made some modifications to this brace and now it works perfectly. Since I couldn't get it back, I decided to try it myself. I removed the silicone gel knee piece. What was attached very well took some work but I took it off. Now that I've done that, I can wear it without causing knee pain. And land in it.
