I have had patellofemoral syndrome in my knee for almost a decade due to an undiagnosed micro-tear of the patellar tendon. I needed a knee brace for support during activity and compression/alignment after exercise. I bought this bracelet 4 years ago and I was blown away. It compresses like a sleeve bandage, but the side rails also provide structural support for your knee. Finally, the knee pad in the center keeps my kneecap in the correct position and really helps with the pain. My 4 year old braces have endured countless basketball games, HIIT workouts, rehab sessions and normal everyday use. I hand washed it and dried it on a hanger to ensure its durability, but twice I rushed it and tossed it in the washing machine. The washing machine tore the fabric lining holding the knee pad and it fell out. Rather than sewing I'm a chemist so I attached it with some flexible epoxy I had quickly but still wanted to replace it just in case. I bought another brace and it is exactly the same as the one I bought 4 years ago. . I expect it will hold up as well and have worn both at home for readjustment and support and have no complaints. 5 star product due to performance and quality!
