I found them very strong, solid and of good quality. I've long used standard jacks that I bought at port freight/auto zones. I felt my safety was my number one priority and I wanted something that looked like it would survive a nuclear blast.1 . My old ones are about half the size of these big boys. These coasters are thicker, wider and taller than regular coasters. They look and feel expensive.2. I could barely get my SUV off the ground with your standard stands. With these new racks, that wasn't a problem.3. The safety pin gives me confidence and the assurance that I won't get killed under my car today. All in all, if you value the safety of yourself or your family, these are great coasters. I don't see any problems with the welds and the overall quality is as per some one star reviews. I have used them several times with great success.
