Omega Lift Heavy Duty Stands Review

Used to minimize the risk of injury when removing the 76 Bronco's front drive train and trailing arms. So far I'm still alive, maybe thanks to these jacks

I bought these for the double security. I also bought rubber inserts to clamp the weld. I know the Omega name because I have two 12 ton jacks.

Do not buy. This is a pair of 3 ton jacks that can lift 6 tons in total. I have never seen this misleading information on a bushing kit. They are poorly made from cheap metal and the welds barely penetrate the metal. Incredibly expensive Chinese junk. Stay away from this company.

The pair I received seems very strong. The locking pin snaps securely into place. The only downside for me is that in the lowest position they are too high for my 2010 Hyundai Sonata. They're great for my pickup, but I don't usually have to jack it up. If you can be confident of the height you need, I wouldn't worry about the quality of these stands.

This couple worked on an almost classic car. I got the 6 ton because the base is taller which allows me to reach my desired height without full extension. In addition, the base is wider than the 3-ton truck. Both ensure more stability and thus more safety when crawling under! The pin lock is also a great feature in case someone clumsily hits the lever while the stand is up!

Nothing to complain about. These are well-designed and well-made heavy-duty stands with proper safety features such as height adjustment and the presence of a safety pin to prevent the fork from accidentally falling to its original zero position in the event of an accidental impact. This is so misleading I have never seen this before. The reason I got them was for my van I was working on, I figured I'd go overboard a little just to be on the safe side.
