Review on White Funtin Custom Mod Sleeved Cable Kit for PC Power Supply - UL1015 18AWG 24PIN ATX / 8(4+4) PIN EPS / 8(6+2) PIN PCI-E PSU Cable with Combs, 30CM (New_White) by Chad Guinn

Good cables and combs (see details). Recommended

I don't mind running cables, but I usually have to tuck everything neatly behind the opaque side of the case. Up to this time. This time I installed a spare 3700X in a Corsair Carbide 275R I had lying around. I'm not usually the type to buy white cases, but thought this one would be nice for some widescreen studio shots. Even before I started building, I knew my only white power supply was an old EPS unit. . I ended up using a black EVGA 850W left over from another build. Not modular but black wires. Hm. This is where the sleeved Funtin IPS-04 Custom Mod Cables come into play. Not only do they better complement the look of Corsair's white chassis, but they extend standard cables just enough to allow for easy routing. I used some combs to try and keep things tidy. I've attached the photos, although I cleaned up a bit after the photos. With a coupon, this kit costs about $20. I think you wouldn't be looking at this article if you weren't concerned about the aesthetics of your case. If you do, this is a good buy. If you have a tall case and complicated cable routing, it might be worth buying one just for the length of the extension. The price seems reasonable for what you get. Of course the materials don't cost that much, but this is a specialized low volume part. recommended

Pros
  • 3> EXTREMELY THICK WIRE AND DURABLE CABLES: ♦ Long-term stability and superior performance are fundamental to protecting your computer. Thanks to the Triple Layer Weaving construction, these cables are heavy and thick. The extra thick wires can reduce the gaps between each wire and give you a fresh and tidy look. As can be seen in the picture, total length 30 cm including cable combs.
