For vocal recordings I tried everything that was offered there. Put a sock over the mic or use a small screen, ETC ETC, with very mixed results, but in an emergency or in a very urgent situation they will certainly suffice. Although I had to record for a while, I once borrowed a pop filter from a friend. I didn't know it was this one because it didn't have any markings on it. When I received this I was just as pleasantly surprised to find out it was the one I had borrowed! It has everything you need. An adjustable neck, a security screw to keep it secure on any mic stand, and a very soft material that filters out plosives and other harsh vocal noise that most condenser mics will be grateful for, as will your EQ processor or mixer. . So if you record a lot of vocals, please do it now, it's the best thing you can do for your studio.
