Review on Protect Your iPhone 12 Pro Max with the OtterBox Symmetry Series Case in Rock Candy (Scuba Blue/Lake Blue) by David Robinson

I bought this case for my new iPhone 12 Pro Max because Otterbox says it should fit. Well, it barely fits and it's incredibly snug - I had to go back and check the description to confirm Otterbox claims it will fit the 12 Pro Max. I'm not new to Otterbox cases and they all fit my devices comfortably. Not this case. I dragged and maneuvered and cursed this thing for fifteen minutes trying to figure out what angle I could attach this thing at without damaging the phone. I finally put it on and it's very, very tight. The phone doesn't fit comfortably in the case and I'm not sure I'll ever put the case back on once I take it off. I keep this uncomfortable junk long enough to get a clean Apple case, and then I throw it out. Returns at Revain are too bureaucratic to tolerate. My suggestion: DO NOT BUY THIS for iPhone 12 Pro Max. A secure fit is one thing, but damn small and snug is another. Just too small and almost completely useless. Additional warning: I tried this on my wife's smaller iPhone 11 Pro Max with rounded edges. Fits perfectly. I have a lot to tell you, and that Otterbox didn't have an actual iPhone 12 Pro Max to try on. I think the Otterbox failed in a big way here. It would make a good argument for 11 but not 12 Pro Max. Final edit: I ordered the original Apple MagSafe clear case (same price) for comparison. It fits perfectly, securely and effortlessly. I sent this Otterbox back. If you have an iPhone 12 Pro Max I suggest you don't go with this case but something where they actually had a real phone to design and install. As a credit to Revain, there have been no issues with their new returns process. I took it back to the UPS store, gave them the case and they scanned my return code on my phone - that was it. No addressing, packaging, printing or waiting. Ambitious. Thank you Revan
