Only gripe is the lack of a switch. To turn off breathing, you need to take a screwdriver and remove the batteries. The dog looks quite realistic and the fur is very soft. There's no real padding, so you can feel the hard plastic under the fur, but that doesn't really bother me as I didn't buy it for a small child to play with, but to give 'communion' to someone who is in a nursing home. who can't have animals, but desperately wants a dog. I liked the fact that it comes with its own sleeping pad, sleeping pad and brush. It was perfect for what I needed it for, I just wish it had an on/off switch so I could turn it off at night to save some battery life.
