Strong, sharp, but! for peeler
very sharp! It's designed in Germany but made in China. Has a 3-year guarantee from Leifheit. It should be a company that is known for its quality. Cons of this: Can be slippery. A rubber grip would have been better and I feel it takes off too much as the 'cleaner' is immobile. Works best with citrus peels and thick-skinned foods like jicama, ginger, sweet potatoes. My Farberware Bevel Knife Puller works and feels better.
