After we moved and ran out of recycling options, I started saving on cans. Within a month I realized that if can recycling was possible, a can crusher would be needed. After some research I decided to order this can crusher from Revain because it is cheaper than many other can crushers. holding multiple cans. We've been using this grinder for about 4 months now and it works surprisingly well (especially considering it's all plastic). Pros - It comes with multiple jars so you can store them and then grind them all at once. - fairly easy to assemble and attach to the wall (except for one screw that gets hard near the hole where crushed cans fall) - crushing cans is easy and doesn't require much force (our kids now argue that they crush cans and are now the main crusher in the house) - the price is significantly lower than other crushers I've found Cons - it's all plastic - the reservoir is a bit small and wobbly - cans can get clogged, you're not sure they will break completely (or you'll have trouble with the screw that sits on top of the hole and isn't screwed flush to the plastic). Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but when it comes time to replace the crusher I'll spend the extra money and buy a model that has more metal than plastic.
