Review on DayMark Classic Thermometer for Stainless Steel Refrigerator/Freezer by Nicole Shrestha

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfect accuracy in the kitchen and dining room

I tested this unit with the most accurate thermometer on the market, the HB Instrument 5/2210 Durac Plus Organic Liquid-In-Glass Full Immersion Pocket Thermometer. This statement is based on HB Instrument's strict adherence to established standards set by various national and international authorities. The thermometer is manufactured and tested to standards set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. In addition, the procedures for verifying instrument accuracy are based on NIST Special Publication 1088 and conform to ISO 17025. The range of the thermometer is based on a specific NIST serial number. In addition, the company is accredited according to the recognized international standard ISO. /IEC 17025:2005 via A2LA. The company complies with the requirements of ANSI/NCSL 540-1-1994. HB Instrument is also triple accredited and registered: an ISO 9001:2008 accredited manufacturer, an ISO 14001:2004 accredited manufacturer and an ISO/EEC 17025:2005 accredited laboratory. Enforcement of water resources and liquid discharges. How does DayMark compare to HB? . . . It was a grade higher. Although the accuracy wasn't quite up to industry standards, the HB has a random error of two degrees. Because the DayMark is within half of that statistical range, this fridge thermometer is mathematically dead accurate—nearly flawless. I was so impressed with the test results that I ordered two more DayMarks.
