Professional quality, accuracy and consistency

I have to say I have been looking for a long time for a quality temperature sensor/thermometer to use in my refrigerator, fridges and freezers. . I went through several cheap and expensive models. The Daymark thermometer is the best I've come across and the price is affordable. I bought and tested 3 of these from Revain. I put all three in the fridge at the same time. All show the same temperature. I ran the same test in freezers and refrigerators. All three are consistent and they are…

Thermometer without batteries! Imagine!

Works great. I keep one in the freezer and the other in the fridge and it really helped getting the temperature set to what it should be (below 0 degrees F in the freezer and around 37 degrees F in the fridge is ideal). The fridge in my apartment has freezer and fridge temperature settings from 1 to 7, with 7 being the coldest. Right on the dial it says recommendation 4. With this setting, my drinks in the fridge were noticeably warmer than I'd like, but I was afraid to set the temperature…

Perfect accuracy in the kitchen and dining room

I tested this unit with the most accurate thermometer on the market, the HB Instrument 5/2210 Durac Plus Organic Liquid-In-Glass Full Immersion Pocket Thermometer. This statement is based on HB Instrument's strict adherence to established standards set by various national and international authorities. The thermometer is manufactured and tested to standards set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. In addition, the procedures for verifying instrument accuracy are based on NIST…

Great accuracy for a $5 thermometer, but poor design isn't it!

There are two things to consider when purchasing a fridge/freezer thermometer: temperature accuracy (performance) and design (engineering). measured with accuracy but may not "measure" the convenience of hanging, attaching, or placing in a conspicuous location in many refrigerators or freezers. $, you often need to "puff" your unit by buying thermometers to ensure your unit supports safe freezing/chilling. I have two of these DayMarks along with one of the reference standard liquid science…
