I never know when I'll need to calibrate my pH meter with pH liquids, so liquid forms aren't that useful because I don't know when to open the lids , find that it has evaporated and I have to wait for new liquid to come in and then also wait to get accurate pH readings in my tank again. For some reason, calibration fluids also seem insanely expensive. That's ridiculous. These pills are good. You simply add it to the specified amount of water and you have a pH stable Cal liquid, just like the pre-made liquids you can buy. It's a bit annoying because you have to wait for them to dissolve, but it's worth having plenty of calibration fluids on hand.
