One of the One of the biggest problems with candle making is keeping the wick centered. Michaels and other craft stores sell glue putty to temporarily glue the wick to the bottom of the mold. It used to just not work. The wick loosens, starts to tighten floats or stops being straight and settles in the center of the candle as it dries. This kit solves that problem. I like that the metal stands at the end of the wick are included. Although it's not essential, makes it MUCH easier the process of installing the wick.As well as the included sticky stickers and wooden wick centering tools.Yes it's just a popsicle with a lo ch in it, but it serves its purpose. The wick works great, burning and melting the candle as expected and holding the falling flame. In general it came quickly and it was exactly what I expected. A simple and inexpensive kit to start with, I've used it to make professional looking candles.
