The shelf itself is a beautiful thing. The wood and metal shelves are all nice and sturdy, but the screws attaching the shelves to the shelf were quite fiddly and unfortunately I couldn't get them all the way in (the Allen key that came in the package started to peel off). ) so that the shelf itself tilts a bit. I should also add that you will need a drill to mount it on the wall, but this was not mentioned in the instructions. All in all, I assembled it myself in about an hour, maybe a little longer, but it might help if another person helps hold the shelves while you attach them to the posts.
