I chose this for my 2nd car to complement my battery charger. The charger works perfectly. The length of the charging cable is more than sufficient for my purpose. Unfortunately, the charger seems to stop working as soon as it detects a fully charged battery. For example, I did the following: - plugged the car in and it was fully charged - unplugged it and drove the car - a few days later I remembered to plug it back in. At this point, the charger that was plugged in all the time doesn't start charging. It remains in the "Battery fully charged" state. The only way to get the charger to do anything is to unplug it and plug it back in. At this point it will start charging the battery. I still have to do some tests but am very skeptical at the moment. the ability of this charger to act as a companion. As a low-power charger, it works well. It seems to lack the ability to check battery status - an important feature for long-term storage.
