If you always use a NAS, then HGST drives are the best quality and value for money. Drive failure reports published by Backblaze show that HGST has the lowest overall failure rate in the product line, and 0S04007 in particular has a very low failure rate. Personally, I've been using them for about a year now and can report that the performance at transfer and read speeds is fantastic, the drives are quiet and cool, and I haven't experienced any SMART or ZFS pool errors so far. In addition, the drive is fully compatible with SMART reporting and maintenance on Linux. Very important.
