Onan 4000 works fine after switching to this carb. I find this to be a solid replacement given the short run times so far. (It's just ridiculous how much the manufacturer charges for a carburetor replacement for those cheap alternators. They also don't have a rebuild kit. In every industry, I know that does it to my customers. Especially when they have a near-monopoly in the RV (Besides 90% of people who own one of these will change that non-repairable crap.) I think this unit is a great choice for anyone looking to replace an original Onan carburetor that will inevitably succumb to the ills of Onan ethanol, if you, or in my case the previous owner, are on the alert.
