My K1500 Blazer almost failed the dynamometric hydrocarbon smog test last time, it was borderline 78ppm HC, max CA at 15mph. I have about E3 -Read spark plugs and thought I'd put them in place of the Bosch U Grove platinum ones the truck had. Not only does the truck feel springier, but it now idles with new E3 spark plugs. Here is the emissions data on the dyno before and after the spark plug change: 15 mph - HC was 78ppm now 55ppm CO was 0.25ppm now 0.12ppm NO was 587 now 373.25mph - HC was 37ppm now 28ppm CO was 0.11ppm now 0.08ppm NO was 249 now 136 I can't believe they help the combustion process at least in my Chevy 5.7. I've tried many snake oil products, ignition coil boosters, and different spark plug designs, all with no positive results. This is the first time I've had tangible results with an ignite product!
