I needed a replacement trackball for one of my Kensington Experts, and this does indeed fit. It is slightly heavier than the original Kensington balls, which could be a good thing (or bad), depending on your personal preference. I personally like the more "massive" feel of it. I don't believe this would fit the older models (white, with no scroll ring); I think those require bigger balls (get your mind out of the gutter). I recommend it, I just wish there were more color options! I could see myself collecting these, if there were colors other than red.
