It works if the washing machine is not heavy
So I have an LG puck and a buddy (a small puck in a socket). I bought these products to make sure the helper could open even with a drip tray. Unfortunately the pucks were too heavy and practically crushed them. It was too late for the installer to uninstall or didn't have time to get other heavier ones. I ended up having to cut open the drain pan to open the sidekick.
