VSA Light Fix - Difficult to set up and use? No communication with the machine? read here

I bought the NT630 Plus after my Acura TSX 06 had an annoying VSA light (after a little body work). I hated the thought of going to a dealer and figured there was an easy fix by just plugging it in and clearing the codes similar to what I had seen on youtube. However, I got an error "No communication with vehicle" and couldn't read any of the SAS codes, but oddly I could read everything else, so I thought I must have missed something in the manual (which is also incomprehensible). I was very upset and wanted to return the thing to Revane, but I played around with it a bit. I'm glad I did. Here are the steps you need to take to get this thing working. First you have to register it, but make sure you are on the right website! 1) Go to the correct website - Foxwelltech.us, if like me you are on the wrong website you will be asked for your NT630 Plus serial number and password. There is no password on this device. So when you register your product on the right website, it simply accepts your serial number and you're done! 2) After registering your product, go to SUPPORT > TOOLS > and then download the software for your instrument. I had an NT630 plus so I chose it. I also uploaded a picture of what it looks like. 3) Update the software. When I went to the wrong Foxwell website I had to download software that looked like it was from the 90's and didn't even work. I couldn't figure out what to update. I've uploaded a photo of the correct website as well as what the software should look like once downloaded on the correct page - if it's the correct page the software will extract and install correctly with very little input on my part - it took forever to unzip everything and update (a good 20+ minutes). 4) Some people say their system didn't connect and they had to buy a MicroSD USB adapter but my device connected itself. So you may or may not need it, but if you follow the 3 steps above and the system isn't recognized by the computer, you probably need to go the MicroSD-USB5 route) After following steps 1 through 4, I stuck it in my car and boom, it communicated perfectly with my car and I was able to clear that annoying VSA code that was flashing on my dash.
