I have been using catappa leaves in my aquariums for over a year and can attest to the improvement in the health of the residents through use. I ordered larger blades for my larger tanks to have a more efficient and cost effective way of using many smaller ones. A little tinted water but I like it. My pH has been stable and I haven't noticed any tendency for it to change with use, but that may depend on how often you change the water and replace the leaves. I usually change the leaves when I notice that they are starting to rot. Snails tend to contribute to the decomposition process and seem to really like them. I am very happy with the results of adding leaves and will continue to order and use in the future. I am also very happy that my last order was upgraded from large sheets to the next size at no additional cost. Thank you very much!
